I was born in Chile and raised in Uruguay, South America, where my parents were missionaries. I went to elementary school and most of high school in Uruguay. I finished high school at High Point Baptist Academy and graduated from college from Northland Baptist Bible College in 1991.
I accepted Christ as my personal Savior when I was 16 years old at a canoe retreat in The Wilds, North Carolina. Shortly after this, I was baptized.
In 1993 I was introduced to a couple that were missionaries in the Dominican Republic. They used sports as a means to evangelize. August 2, 1994 I arrived in the Dominican Republic and ever since, have thoroughly enjoyed serving the Lord here.
In January of 1995 I meat a great young lady by the name of Holly Lynch and at the end of that same year we were married.
We had the privilege to work in La Yagüita de Pastor as a new church was beginning. God raised up a national pastor and it was obvious that our time there was finished. It was a great honor to see this church completely on its own. God then led us to Los Girasoles, where we are presently working to start a new church.
I look forward to every day for the new blessings and open doors that God will bring our way.

I was born and raised in a Christian family in Pennsylvania and at a young age accepted Christ as my Savior. At the age of 15, I made a trip to Colombia, South America. On that missions trip, I made a decision that I was going to someday become a missionary. Six years later I was invited by some missionary friends to come and participate in their church planting work in the Dominican Republic. On January 18, 1995, I set foot on Dominican soil and I have loved living here ever since. God opened doors for me to teach at Santiago Christian School as a 4th grade teacher for 3 ½ years, meet the man of my dreams, start a family, and serve in two wonderful church plants. Serving as a missionary in the Dominican Republic has brought many joys and challenges into my life, but I couldn't be more happy than to be exactly where God wants me to be.
Kasandra
She was born in the USA, but has lived in the DR all her life. At the age of three she said to Mommy, "My heart is dirty and Jesus needs to clean it." From that point on her heart has been sensitive to God's leading and learning more about the Bible. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5&6. She loves to speak both English and Spanish.
